My Mother, My Hero

 I hold Mother's day in a very high regard, mothers deserve to relax for sure but on this day I want to make it more special that it already is. I want my mother to be pampered to the best of my ability, even if I do I still think that it can not be compared to what she have done for me, well it can't be compared but still I want to make her day. Mothers are often just describe as someone who birthed as, but they are much more than that.  Mothers should have a vacation on this special day and completely relax, they should be taken care of just like how they did to us, but that does not mean that we shouldn't thank them in ordinary days. They don't get paid to take care of us and the least thing we do is to appreciate them and the little things they do. They are still human and they get exhausted, we should treat them sometime because even if it is a small thing they are still thankful. Yearning for a Better Future

  The labor day is the result of the Filipinos hard-won workers' rights. It is celebrated every May 1 to honor the sacrifices Filipinos have gave in order to have a fair and just working rights and conditions. Since it is a public holiday it is usually used to spend time with family or friends like going to vacations or eating out. Behind this holiday lies the grievances and sufferings Filipinos have gone through, inhumane working conditions specifically. it takes a lot of courage and bravery to fight heads on but I am proud that the Filipinos have pull it through.  The first ever celebration of Labor Day was on May 1, 1903. More than 100,000 employees were organized to march from Tondo's Plaza Moriones to Malacanang, this was  organized by the country’s first labor organization, “Union Obrera Democratica de Filipina (U.O.D.F.).” They have demanded and had a protest for their rights and for a better working conditions to the then-American-led government.  It is no jo...
