It is well known that early 20th-century organizing efforts by women led to the celebration of International Women's Day. Working women in the United States of America organized protests against their treatment, which included low pay, a lack of protection, and subpar living conditions for women. The Women's Month Celebration is a time when women's accomplishments are celebrated in the Philippines. This month, in particular, is dedicated to celebrating the successes of all women. We are all aware that being a woman is perilous and dangerous, and that women experience prejudice, thus being a woman is both a blessing and a curse.
